Classes

Private Yoga Instruction

Instruction for individuals or small groups is effective for yoga students of all levels. Private Yoga instruction is the perfect setting for personalized and focused training in Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow or Restorative Yoga. With patient and guided instruction Private Yoga class will quickly improve any student’s confidence, technique, and overall skill level.

New to Yoga

Learning the basic yoga asanas (poses) and basic breath work. Attendees can be raw beginners willing to start a yoga practice or those who want an easy basic yoga class.

Hatha Yoga

The basis of all yoga styles. Hatha Yoga combines mental focus and conscious breathing techniques to build a foundation of personal strength and flexibility. Awareness, balance, and relaxation are developed through patient and guided practices of alignment and mental focus.

Hatha Flow

Yoga students familiar with basic yoga poses and practices will benefit from the combination of body movements and breathing techniques implemented during Hatha Flow classes. The natural ‘flow’ of postures and positions advances an individual’s foundation of strength, flexibility, and inner peace.

Restorative Yoga

Deep relaxation and rejuvenation gently opens the body and mind to new possibilities. Through the use of supports provided by blankets, bolsters, blocks, and straps traditional yoga poses are modified. Poses are held for 3-30 minutes, encouraging deep relaxation and healing. Please bring an eye cover. (eye pillow or wash cloth etc.)

Svaroopa®

The Svaroopa® style of yoga goes to the core of your tensions, releasing them and opening you to a more expansive view of life. You are supported with blankets and other props so that each pose is tuned to your needs. The deep release that comes with support can help relieve pain, make your muscles stronger, and help you feel more at peace. Appropriate for beginners and experienced yogis, flexible or inflexible. Gentle Hatha Yoga

Gentle Hatha Yoga involves moving into asana slowly. This Hatha form helps improve flexibility in the shoulders, neck, and hips, the common stress points. This class is a great way to gently unwing at the end of the week and ready to start your weekend. A basic yoga class for all levels.

Yoga For Abs

Yoga For Abs will target the core area of the body. Strengthening the core through yoga helps stabilize the back and gives core support to the entire body.

Pranayama and Meditation Class

Pranayama provides the path to breath-awareness, meditation preparation, and overall health and well-being.  These breathing classes are designed to benefit students and practitioners of all types of phyiscal activity and skill levels.  Pranayama breathing exercises will be followed by seated meditation to clear the mind, focus on Pranayama techniques, and overall stress relief that will benifit an individual’s life and health.
