Private Yoga Instruction

Instruction for individuals or small groups is effective for yoga students of all levels. Private Yoga instruction is the perfect setting for personalized and focused training in Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow or Restorative Yoga. With patient and guided instruction Private Yoga class will quickly improve any student’s confidence, technique, and overall skill level.

Ayurveda and Yoga: Practice and Tasting

Yoga and Ayurveda are two intertwined paths rooted in the ancient Vedic texts. Ayurveda, which means “science of life,” is the ancient art of keeping the body and mind balanced and healthy. Yoga is the ancient art and science of preparing the body and mind for the eventual liberation and enlightenment. In this class we will learn how Ayurveda can allow healing in our lives through the practice of yoga postures, meditation and breathing, as well as food preparation and tastings.


Learning the basic yoga asanas (poses) and basic breath work. Attendees can be raw beginners willing to start a yoga practice or those who want an easy basic yoga class.

Chair & Senior Yoga class

Movement and deep stretching. This class is designed for those you would like to experience the benefits of yoga but may have trouble with kneeling, transitioning from floor to standing, or standing for long periods of time. You will have the option to stay in the chair or go from chair to mat as you feel comfortable. A type of yoga that is done in a safe and gentle way.

Core Vinyasa

Core Vinyasa Yoga is a series of poses that will move you through the power of inhaling and exhaling, with a specific emphasis on strengthening the “Core” of the body.

Hatha Blend

A creative blend of Anusara & Yin based Yoga. These are two disciplines which heighten and define the practitioner’s alignment, self-awareness and depth of flexibility. The practice is great on its own or as an addition to any type of workout routine as it leaves you feeling centered, calm and glowing.

Hatha Flow

This class focuses on one or two areas of alignment each week in strength building Hatha Yoga postures.  Poses, or Asanas, are coordinated with the breath and woven together with sun salutations.  Not only is emphasis placed on the physical structures and fundamentals of Asanas, but also a cultivation of awareness and consciousness in the mind and heart is pursued. The balanced style of this class, grounded in the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment, will send you off feeling simultaneously calmer and stronger than when you first stepped through the door.

Hatha Yoga

The basis of all yoga styles. Hatha Yoga combines mental focus and conscious breathing techniques to build a foundation of personal strength and flexibility. Awareness, balance, and relaxation are developed through patient and guided practices of alignment and mental focus.

Restorative Yoga

Deep relaxation and rejuvenation gently opens the body and mind to new possibilities. Through the use of supports provided by blankets, bolsters, blocks, and straps traditional yoga poses are modified. Poses are held for 3-30 minutes, encouraging deep relaxation and healing. Please bring an eye cover. (eye pillow or wash cloth etc.)

Svaroopa® Yoga and Minute Method Meditation

Within you is all the strength, stamina and serenity you need. You can open the door to it through Svaroopa® Yoga and the Minute Method Meditation practice.

Svaroopa® Yoga poses are like a laser beam that melts tension around your central column of support – your spine. As your spine eases, that ease radiates out through your entire body providing strength, stamina and vitality to every inch of your body. Your mind also fills with ease. Mary has special training to provide each individual with the alignment and support needed for each pose. You are guided meticulously and compassionately throughout the class.

The Minute Method Meditation Practice is a simple, safe and effective practice of awareness.

Simple, because it is a practice of rest. Safe, because it relies on your Spiritual Heart Center, your very own sacred presence. Effective, because it reveals your true core of serenity that interacts with the world with compassion, patience, understanding and love.

TriYoga Basics

For those new to TriYoga and for those who want to strengthen their core alignments, Basics is an accessible practice for students of all levels. Classes begin with a brief breathing practice followed by a posture flow. The flows are designed to develop equal measures of strength and flexibility while guiding students towards blissful relaxation. Modified postures and props such as blocks, bolsters, and blankets are incorporated to ensure comfort and proper alignment. Classes conclude with yoga nidra, deep relaxation.

Yoga Flow-Ashtanga-based

The intention of the Ashtanga form is to allow practitioners to develop their own practice, bringing the focus to yoga as an individual, internal experience, rather than as a process through which we must be led. Students practice their own portion of the asana sequence at their own pace, while the teacher assists each student one-on-one. This style welcomes beginners and advanced practitioners.

Yoga For Abs

Yoga For Abs will target the core area of the body. Strengthening the core through yoga helps stabilize the back and gives core support to the entire body.


This Yoga-based program is specialized for cancer survivors at various stages of treatment and recovery. Classes include therapeutic post-surgery movements, mindful yoga sequences, restful guided relaxations, and healing breath practices.
