An Intro to Yoga Practice:
Active Practice and Stillness

Walking into a Yoga class for the first time can be intimidating. Maybe you’re afraid that you’re not flexible enough, not strong enough, or not “calm” enough to make it through an entire class. Whether you are new to Yoga, returning to your mat after time away or just want to strengthen the core of your existing Yoga practice, “An Intro to Yoga Practice” series is for you!

This series, developed by Paula Edwards, is based on 2 books, 30 Essential Yoga Poses and Relax and Renew by Judith Hansen Lasater. The series will give each student the basic understanding of an “active” yoga practice along with a practice of “stillness”. This 4 class series designed so that upon completion, students will have acquired a foundation in yoga that will equip them to start sampling other classes and developing their own Yoga practice. Classes will be limited to 8 students and spaces will be 6 feet apart following social distancing guidelines. Hand sanitizer will be available for your use.

We no longer provide props. You will need:
1 yoga mat1 yoga belt2 yoga blankets1 yoga bolster

If you need yoga props, I can order a new yoga kit for you for $145.00 (mat included).

Cost: An Intro to Yoga Practice Beginner’s Series is $125.00
(Includes “30 Essential Yoga Poses” book, Restorative Yoga Guide, handouts and an eye pillow)
